Mrs. Marcia Wright
Our very own Board Chairperson Mrs. Marcia Wright, was honored at the Old North State Medical Foundation World Class Contributors Award Ceremony on October 7, 2017. Mrs. Wright received the Life-Time Community Service Award for giving hundreds of hours per year helping others, coordinating resources, harnessing and building upon the strengths within the community to improve the quality of life for those in need.
"Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award" Honoree

Our Board Member, Ms. Rebecca Judge, was presented with the "Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award" by Representative Larry Bell. The presentation was made on June 30, 2018 at the Country Squire Restaurant in Duplin County. Since 1963, North Carolina’s governors have reserved their highest honor, The "Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award", for persons who have made significant contributions to the state and their communities through their exemplary service and exceptional accomplishments. Persons named to The Order become North Carolina “Ambassadors” with their names and award dates recorded on a Roster maintained by The Order of the Long Leaf Pine Society.
"Duplin County Hall of Fame" Inductee
Ms. Rebecca H. Judge
Rebecca Judge was inducted in to The Duplin County Hall of Fame on November 1, 2018. — Every year, Duplin County Hall of Fame inducts two prolific Duplin County citizens, one living and one deceased. Rose Hill native Rebecca Judge has been a nurse and longtime advocate for mental health in the county. Ms. Judge was honored for her life's work in improving mental health services.
